Financial Manager

We are seeking a Law Firm Financial Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing the Firm’s billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and related financial systems, as well as working with our outside bookkeeper and accountant on tax and related financial issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage billing for client services
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Maintain bank accounts
  • Manage and track the firm’s use of credit accounts
  • Financial management of firm payroll, employee benefits and insurance
  • Interact with lawyers, staff and clients regarding financial matters
  • Manage financial reporting and budgeting
  • Use your creativity to improve law firm results and bottom line

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a major or minor in accounting, business, finance, economics or a similar field, or work experience demonstrating a working knowledge of accounting and financial management.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Quickbooks experience a plus
  • Interest in law or a law related career a plus!
