Joel B. Rothman
Joel B. Rothman represents clients in intellectual property infringement litigation involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, defamation, trade libel, unfair competition, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and commercial matters. Joel’s litigation practice also includes significant focus on electronic discovery issues such as e-discovery management and motion practice relating to e-discovery.
Joel is Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law by The Florida Bar, “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and rated 10.0 (superb) by Avvo. Joel is a former chair of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar and a member of the Section’s Executive Council. Prior to relocating to Florida, Joel was an Assistant District Attorney in the Rackets Bureau, Investigations Division, of the Bronx District Attorney’s Office.
Joel received his J.D. with honors from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University in 1991, and his B.A. magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1988. Jonah began his legal career practicing law in New York City at a firm that specialized in entertainment, securities and business litigation. He also has experience representing both corporate clients and individuals in transactional matters. Prior to commencing his career in law, Jonah worked in the jewelry industry in both design and marketing.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, Jonah continued honing his entrepreneurial skills by advising a growing start-up gourmet fast casual food operation. Jonah’s business background gives him great understanding of both how business works and how to solve disputes when they arise.
Jonah is admitted to practice law in both New York and California. He is a board member of the Barristers Committee and on the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section at the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He also volunteers at Bet Tzedek Legal Services and the Roxbury Park Legal Clinic.

Joe graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2008. Prior to Cardozo, Joe taught middle school math and science in New York City, and also worked as a regulatory specialist and chemist for a supplement company.

After graduation from Davidson College, Evan worked as a Legal Assistant at Cahill Gordon and Reindel, LLP in New York City. During law school at Wake Forest University, he spent a summer as an intern for the Honorable Joel M. Feldman in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In law school, Evan was a staff member of the Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal and was awarded CALI Achievement Awards in Intellectual Property and Trademarks and the 2007 ABA and Bureau of National Affairs Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law.

She graduated summa cum laude from St. Thomas College of Law with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, earning numerous awards for academic accomplishments, and authoring three articles – on trademarks, cyber insurance, and facial recognition technology – that have been published by leading law journals.
Prior to joining SRIPLAW, Angela interned for Chief Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn at the Northern District of Texas in Dallas, and worked in intellectual property as well as commercial litigation firms in the South Florida area. Angela currently represents plaintiffs in copyright and trademark matters. Craig has worked in civil litigation since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016. He has worked on both the Plaintiff’s and Defendant’s side of cases. Prior to joining the firm, Craig worked for one of the largest Insurance Defense law firms in Florida.
Craig graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 2016, with a certificate in Intellectual Property Law. In law school, Craig helped prosecute patents for microentitites in a pro-bono clinic. Prior to law school, Craig worked in research labs at Vanderbilt and the Harvard School of Public Health focusing on neurodegenerative diseases.
Craig is a graduate of Emory University, where he received a B.S. in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology in 2008.
