The article also marks the first time that the Nutritional and Dietary Supplement Law Blog has been referenced in the printed press, however small the quote from yours truly may be (and it’s small).

Update: The Fort Worth Star-Telegram provides a very interesting side note to the Mannatech story in its piece about Dr. H. Reginald McDaniel and the non-profit Fisher Institute. The article claims close ties between Mannatech, McDaniel and the Fisher Institute which, according to the article, has “concentrated on funding and publishing studies favorable to the dietary supplements developed by Mannatech Inc., while [McDaniel] has received millions of dollars in stock and cash from the company.”
