imagesAccording to this article the Governor of New Jersey signed an executive order today that, among other things, “directs state health officials to come up with a plan to check nutritional supplements for steroids.” In a prior executive order, the governor had set up a Task Force on Steroid Use and Prevention. This latest NJ governor executive order is posted here.

The order directs that “The Department of Health and Senior Services shall develop and implement as soon as possible a program to randomly test dietary supplement products for sale in New Jersey to detect steroid contamination.” No details on how this program will work. Stay tuned.
