An article in yesterday’s New York Times discusses the release of a state task force report recommending that NY take a role in overseeing the dietary supplement industry.

Citing a lack of federal oversight of the dietary supplement industry, a state task force is recommending that New York provide its own supervision in order to give consumers basic information and protect them from dangerous products.
